A pair of solid oak side tables, also suitable for use as lamp tables, designed in a rustic country aesthetic. Each table is constructed with a square top featuring a framed panel design; the central field comprises three boards enclosed by a wide border with exposed wooden dowel pegs at each corner. The bases consist of four substantial square-section block legs connected by simple aprons, with the joinery secured by visible wooden pegs throughout. The timber displays a medium oak tone with a factory-applied distressed finish. No maker’s marks, labels, or signatures are visible.
Condition report:
The tables are presented with a factory-distressed finish, incorporating scattered scratches, small indentations, and dark pitting to simulate age. There is general light surface wear and minor scuffing to the edges consistent with use. Both tables remain structurally sound.
