A vintage 9ct yellow gold signet ring by Henry Griffith and Sons Ltd. The ring features a flush-set rectangular cushion-cut tigers eye gemstone displaying characteristic golden-brown chatoyancy. The shoulders taper into a plain gold shank. The interior of the band is stamped with the makers mark HG and S for Henry Griffith and Sons Ltd. The shank bears a full set of British hallmarks including the anchor for the Birmingham Assay Office and gold purity marks 9 and .375.

Condition report:
The ring is in fair condition with signs of age and significant wear. The shank is notably misshapen and flattened on one side, requiring professional reshaping. There is visible surface tarnishing and fine scratches to the gold throughout. The tigers eye gemstone shows minor surface abrasions consistent with use but remains intact in its setting.
