A large collection of assorted vintage and modern costume jewellery comprising various necklaces, bracelets, bangles, and earrings. The lot includes a multi-strand gold-tone chain necklace contained within an original black Monet presentation box and a set of simulated pearls in a curved Lotus brand case marked Made in England. Further necklaces include multiple strands of simulated pearls of various sizes, several multi-tonal amber-coloured resin or glass bead necklaces, and a strand of graduated yellow-orange plastic beads. Notable individual items include a translucent green bangle, an abalone shell pendant on a fine silver-tone chain, and a pair of purple and gold-tone knot-style earrings in a green velvet box labelled JM / IMTV Made in India. A large quantity of unsorted items is contained within a cardboard box, including silver-tone and gold-tone chains, faceted glass beads, charms, and a brass thimble. Presentation cases include a Gioielleria Pesoli Erika white box, a black octagonal ring box with a cream velvet interior, and the aforementioned branded cases.
Condition report:
The items are in varied, used condition. A significant portion of the jewellery in the cardboard box is tangled and requires sorting. There is visible wear, surface scratches, and some oxidation to metal findings and plastic beads. The vintage presentation cases show visible wear, surface marks, and foxing to the interior linings. The green bangle and abalone pendant appear intact without visible cracks or significant damage.
