A 2025 UK annual silver proof coin set issued by The Royal Mint, housed in a black lacquered presentation case with a silver-coloured crest on the lid. This set comprises 13 coins in total, including five commemorative issues and eight definitive denominations, all struck in .925 sterling silver. Several denominations feature selective fine gold plating, including both commemorative and definitive two pound coins and the definitive one pound coin. The commemorative coins include a five pound coin celebrating Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, two pound coins marking 200 Years of the Modern Railway and the 350th anniversary of The Royal Observatory, Greenwich, and fifty pence coins for the Red Arrows and Stories of the Second World War. The definitive series features nature-themed reverse designs introduced for the reign of King Charles III, including the dormouse (1p), red squirrel (2p), oak leaf (5p), capercaillie (10p), puffin (20p), salmon (50p), bees (1 pound), and national floral emblems (2 pounds). Each coin displays the obverse portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings with the Latin legend CHARLES III D G REX F D 2025. The set is accompanied by the original certificate of authenticity, numbered 150 from a limited edition presentation of 550.
