Four 24-carat gold-layered base metal medals themed Land, Sea, Air, and The People. The obverse of these medals features the IWM logo and the signature of Simon Weston CBE. The reverse designs include a British Paratrooper on a Yomp, naval vessels HMS Invincible and HMS Hermes, RAF Vulcan and Sea Harrier aircraft, and a memorial plaque for those lost during liberation.

Condition report:

The coins and medals are in proof or collector quality condition, preserved within clear plastic protective capsules and appearing free from visible wear or toning. The presentation folder and several paper certificates exhibit significant water damage and brown staining at the bottom centre edge. This has caused warping to the cardboard folder and staining to the internal timeline pages and some certificates.
