Buyer's Premium:

A large mid-20th-century oak bookcase of one-piece construction. The cabinet features two full-length doors, each divided into three glazed upper panes with horizontal wooden astragals above a solid lower panel. The outer vertical edges of the front frame are decorated with carved dentil-style motifs. The interior is fitted with four full-width wooden shelves on supports, providing five levels of storage. The doors are hung on brass butt hinges and feature integrated vertical rectangular wooden block handles. A single keyhole is present on the right-hand door. The piece is constructed from oak and oak-faced veneers with plywood back panels.

Condition report:

The bookcase shows significant surface wear, including multiple scratches, dings, and abrasions consistent with age and use. There is heavy scuffing and finish loss to the lower-right solid door panel. The reverse plywood panel exhibits extensive white chalk markings and surface grime. No key is present. The piece appears structurally sound but requires cosmetic restoration to the finish.
