A pair of two The Koin Club gold-toned commemorative medallion sets presented in card gatefold folders. This lot comprises two themed sets produced by Koin Limited, featuring characters from various Disney properties. The medallions are housed in protective clear plastic capsules. The first set, titled The Classics Collection, is presented in a large blue printed card folder. It includes six circular medallions featuring character art and quotes from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Lion King, Sleeping Beauty, The Aristocats, Hercules, and Bambi. An additional larger medallion featuring the Disney logo is inset into the reverse cover. The reverse bears printed marks for The Koin Club and Produced by Koin Limited with barcode 0703694933417. The second set, titled Winnie the Pooh Gold Edition, is a limited edition numbered 185 of 999. The white card folder contains eight heptagonal medallions featuring illustrations in the style of E.H. Shepard, depicting Pooh, Christopher Robin, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Owl, Rabbit, and Kanga. The interior includes biographical text regarding A.A. Milne. The reverse bears printed marks for The Koin Club and Produced by Koin Limited with barcode 5060607438793.
Condition report:
The card presentation folders show minor wear to the corners and edges (photo 1). The white Winnie the Pooh folder exhibits light surface scuffing and a small dark smudge to the upper right front corner (photo 1), with some light spotting visible on the reverse (photo 2). All medallions appear in excellent condition within their original protective capsules (photos 3 and 4).
