A collection of decorative items including four hand-painted refined gypsum plaster models from the David Winter Cottages series. The models represent various architectural scenes: a small cottage built into a rocky outcrop, a large village church with adjoining cottages, a half-timbered Tudor style house, and a cottage featuring a canal lock with a narrowboat in the foreground. Each model is accompanied by an original illustrated cardboard box. The boxes are printed with the red and blue DAVID WINTER Cottages logo and village-themed illustrations. A white adhesive label on one box reads Shobrook and Co 175 Plymouth, and a yellow label on another reads 307 01 024 Robert Hopsal. Also included is a porcelain figurine depicting a mare unicorn and her foal on a green mound-style base, decorated with applied floral garlands, and a set of eight place mats. The place mats are housed in a box printed with Pimpernel British Heritage 6+2 PLACE MATS and a monochromatic engraving style illustration of a stately home by a river.

Condition report:

The four refined gypsum plaster models appear to be in good overall condition with no visible chips or losses to the painted surface (photos 1, 2, 3). The original David Winter boxes exhibit significant age-related wear, including creasing, surface staining, and residue from old adhesive tape (photos 1, 2, 3). The porcelain unicorn figurine appears intact with no visible chips or repairs (photo 4). The Pimpernel placemat box is in poor condition, showing heavy water staining, surface foxing, and structural damage to the corners (photos 4, 5).
