A collection of Batman and other DC books comprising a variety of modern graphic novels and collected editions in both hardcover and trade paperback formats. The lot features several DC Black Label prestige hardcovers including Harleen by Stjepan Sejic, Batman: One Dark Knight by Jock, Batman: Damned by Azzarello and Bermejo, and Batman: City of Madness by Christian Ward. Hardcover deluxe editions are present for milestone issues including Detective Comics number 1000 and 1027, alongside collected volumes of Batman: The Man Who Laughs, Batman: The Killing Joke, and WE3: The 20th Anniversary Edition. The collection also includes a sequential run of Detective Comics trade paperbacks from the New 52 era, encompassing volumes one through seven, and the Image Comics title Kill Your Darlings. The volumes are constructed with a mix of high-gloss and matte paper stock, bound in either stiff card covers or cloth-covered boards with illustrated dust jackets. Multiple titles remain in the original publisher’s clear plastic shrink-wrap.
Condition report:
The collection is in overall excellent condition, appearing near-mint with sharp corners and straight, uncracked spines across both hardcovers and trade paperbacks (photos 1, 2, and 4). A significant portion of the lot remains in original factory shrink-wrap, including Batman: Damned and several volumes of the Detective Comics New 52 run (photos 3 and 4). The dust jackets and card covers show no visible evidence of heavy shelf wear, creasing, or tearing. A small white adhesive label is present on the spine of the Detective Comics number 1000 deluxe edition (photo 5).
