This lot comprises a large contemporary atmospheric landscape painting on stretched canvas, possibly executed in oil or acrylic. The composition features a dramatic horizon line in deep crimson with golden impasto highlights, set between a sky of gestural blue and white brushwork and a foreground of dark indigo and turquoise tones. The work is gallery wrapped, with the pigment extending around the edges of the support. The canvas is mounted on a wooden stretcher frame featuring a central horizontal crossbar and two vertical support bars, creating a six-panel grid structure to the reverse. The reverse of the painting is partially covered with corrugated cardboard panels. No artist signature or maker mark is visible on either the face or the reverse of the work.

Condition report:
The painting is in good overall condition. Minor surface dust and light scuffs are visible to the paint surface. There is light wear and minor pigment loss at the extreme corners and edges of the canvas (photo 2 and photo 3). The verso shows age-related darkening and staining to the wooden stretcher bars (photo 4). A section of the cardboard backing is missing from two of the stretcher quadrants on the left side (photo 4).
