A collection of Twelve David Winter Cameos plaster architectural models together with a dedicated display base and individual presentation boxes. The miniatures are crafted from refined hand-painted gypsum plaster and represent various traditional British village structures. This group includes pieces titled Brooklet Bridge, Lych Gate, The Privy, Beehive Skips, Poultry Ark, Welsh Pigpen, Market Day, Penny Wishing Well, Saddle Steps, and Greenwood Cabin, plus one additional structure. The miniatures feature their respective names incised or printed along the edge of the base, such as ‘BROOKLET BRIDGE’. The molded display base is textured to resemble a village green with stone pathways and features twelve labeled recessed mounting points and a front-facing logo reading ‘DAVID WINTER’ above ‘CAMEOS’. Each miniature is accompanied by a cream-coloured cardboard presentation box decorated with a village market scene and the printed ‘DAVID WINTER CAMEOS’ logo.
Condition report:
The plaster models appear to be in good overall condition with no major breaks or structural repairs visible (photo 1). Some minor fleabite chips typical for hand-painted plaster may be present on the edges of the roofs or foliage. The original cardboard presentation boxes show signs of age-related wear, including surface scuffing and minor staining (photo 3). One box lid has a small surface tear. The molded display base appears structurally sound with no visible cracks or significant damage (photo 2).
