A collection of vintage consumer electronics and telephony equipment dating from the late 20th century. The lot features an ITT-KB SL 55 automatic de luxe cassette recorder finished in silver and black plastic, marked MADE IN JAPAN FOR ITT-KB to the front face. Portable audio units include a red Aiwa personal cassette player with a three-band graphic equalizer and METAL tape selector, and a silver Crown FM stereo radio cassette player marked JAPAN with a CUE SYSTEM. A pair of Sony active speakers, model SRS-T50, features integrated grilles and a bass boost function. The group also contains a pair of Bose over-ear headphones, a boxed Altai electret condenser headset microphone, and a cream-coloured Viscount style push-button telephone with a secondary handset cradle and red function buttons marked MR and S. Accessories include a black Creative soft case, a Rolson LED light, and a Kinsman gear bag containing tripod components. This lot comprises the electronics and accessories only; the surrounding domestic items and shelving shown in the images are not included.
Condition report:
The items are in varied, used condition throughout. The Bose headphones exhibit significant deterioration and flaking to the black earpad upholstery (photo 1). Surface scratches and scuffs are visible to the metal-effect faceplate of the ITT-KB recorder (photo 4). The telephone unit shows some surface staining and accumulated dust (photo 3). The Altai microphone box is heavily worn with tape reinforcement to the edges (photo 2). All items are sold as untested; internal battery compartment condition and working order are unknown.
