This lot comprises two vintage table lamps in mid-century and industrial styles. The first is a mid-century style table lamp featuring a turned teak base with a tapered stem and a square foot. It is topped with a conical fabric shade decorated with a polychrome floral scroll pattern in the Arts and Crafts style. The second lamp is an industrial style adjustable desk lamp, featuring a red-painted circular metal base and a matching red-painted metal shade. The lamp head is constructed with a central black finned cooling body and is adjustable for both height and tilt on a vertical metal rod. Both lamps are fitted with white UK three-pin plugs; the desk lamp has an inline switch on the black power cord, while the teak lamp features a white cord. This lot comprises the lamps only; the keyboard, storage crates, and other furniture shown in the images are not included.
Condition report:
The teak lamp base shows light surface wear and minor scratches consistent with age (photo 3). The fabric shade displays light creasing and faint surface marks (photo 1). The red desk lamp exhibits small paint chips and surface scuffing to the red-painted surfaces, notably on the base and shade (photo 2). Both items are sold as untested.
