A 9ct gold signet ring featuring a cushion-shaped oval face. The face is decorated with a hand-engraved stylised script monogram in a cursive flourish, which is not clearly legible as a name. The head tapers into plain, polished shoulders and a standard band. No hallmarks or manufacturer marks are visible on the interior of the shank.

Condition report:
The ring is in fair vintage condition. There is significant surface wear and numerous fine scratches across the signet face and shank (photo 1). The shank is slightly distorted and is no longer perfectly circular (photo 1).
