A collection of faux pearl costume jewellery necklaces in various styles and colours, featuring simulated pearls in white, cream, champagne, and golden tones. The assortment includes single-strand chokers, graduated bead necklaces, opera-length strands, and multi-strand designs. One specific necklace in the foreground features faceted aurora borealis coated glass or crystal spacers between smaller white beads. The necklaces are secured with a variety of yellow and white metal clasps, including box and fishhook styles. Several clasps bear indistinct blurred marks that are not legible as names or hallmarks. The items are presented in a mixed group with diverse bead sizes and stringing methods, reflecting a variety of vintage costume styles.
Condition report:
The collection is presented as a bulk lot and shows visible signs of tangling (photo 1). Several strands exhibit surface wear and rubbing to the pearlised coating, consistent with vintage estate jewellery. Some stringing appears weakened or stretched due to the bulk storage method (photo 1). The lot is sold as a mixed group of wearable and potentially repairable pieces.
