A contemporary square grid tufted white upholstered ottoman. This large square ottoman is constructed with a frame upholstered in a white material, possibly leather or a synthetic alternative, which is stitched into a grid of sixteen square panels with deep-set seams. The piece is supported by four L-shaped feet made of polished metal, likely chrome-plated steel or aluminium, which are secured to the corners of the base. The underside is fitted with a white rectangular manufacturer’s or fire-safety label, although the characters are not legible from the photographs (photo 3). This piece is designed in a minimalist style intended for use as a versatile seat, footstool, or central coffee table substitute within a modern interior setting.
Condition report:
The white upholstery shows extensive dark blue and grey spotting and staining across several of the top panels (photo 1 and 2). The black fabric dust cover on the underside is in poor condition, being heavily torn, frayed, and detached from the frame in multiple places (photo 3). The polished metal feet exhibit light surface scratching and minor wear consistent with domestic use.
