A framed limited edition Austin Lucas European Tour 2016 screenprint. The artwork is rendered in a highly detailed, Art Nouveau stylised graphic manner, featuring a central winged female figure holding a red heart. The composition is surrounded by decorative motifs including red poppies, animal skulls, and celestial elements, executed in a palette of black, white, red, and gold. The lower centre of the print features printed text reading AUSTIN LUCAS above EUROPEAN TOUR 2016. A pencil inscription in the lower right margin reads The 13th Sign 69/110. The piece is presented behind glass with a mauve-toned mount and a black frame. The reverse of the frame is finished with a plywood panel secured by metal staples and carries a small white adhesive label reading A5632. No artist signature is visible on the work.
Condition report:
The screenprint appears to be in very good condition with vibrant colours and no evident signs of foxing, toning, or fading (photo 1). The mount is clean, though some minor dust specks are visible beneath the glass. The black frame exhibits minor surface scuffing and light wear to the corners and edges consistent with handling (photo 1). The plywood backing panel shows some light surface scratches and standard wear (photo 3).
