This lot comprises twelve gold-plated copper commemorative medals titled Portraits of a Queen by Windsor Mint. The collection depicts milestones in the life of Queen Elizabeth II, featuring frosted relief portraits against mirrored fields including her role as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards in 1942, the 1953 Coronation, and various jubilee celebrations through to 2012. Each medal is struck to a proof standard and features an inset stone. The items are housed in individual clear plastic capsules within a blue velvet-lined wooden presentation case. Accompanying documentation includes a Certificate of Ownership numbered 003966, a Certificate of Authenticity ECHTHEITS-ZERTIFIKAT numbered 01461, and a technical information card. The card records the material as copper plated in 24 carat gold and states a total limitation of 9,999 collections. The case lid is printed with a Windsor Mint crest.

Condition report:
The medals appear in uncirculated proof condition and remain housed in protective clear plastic capsules (photo 1). There are minor handling marks and light surface scratches visible on the exterior of the wooden presentation case (photo 3). The internal velvet lining and documentation are well-preserved with no visible staining or tears.
