This lot comprises a Ten piece farmhouse style pine dining suite constructed from solid pine with a medium honey-coloured finish. The suite includes one rectangular table featuring a thick top with rounded corners, supported by four substantial bulbous turned legs, and nine ladder-back chairs. Each chair is designed with a backrest featuring four wavy horizontal slats and a square seat pad upholstered in a red patterned fabric. The construction is indicative of a late 20th-century country style. No manufacturer’s marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the table or chairs. This lot comprises the table and six chairs only; the appliances, paintings, mattresses, and other warehouse contents shown in the background of the images are not included.
Condition report:
The suite exhibits significant cosmetic wear consistent with regular domestic use. The chair backrests show extensive finish wear, scuffing, and pigment loss to the top rails and slats (photo 3, 4, and 5). The table top displays multiple surface scratches, indentations, and minor water marks (photo 1 and 2). There is light staining and visible wear to the red upholstery (photo 4 and 5). General scuffing and domestic wear are present on the legs and stretchers of the suite (photo 6).
