Sold for: £30
A traditional style solid pine bed frame with a slatted base featuring a honey-toned polished finish. The frame is constructed with a tall headboard and a matching footboard, both of which are decorated with three recessed rectangular panels defined by simple moulding and a top rail shaped with a central crescent-shaped cutout. The square corner posts are finished with flat, slightly overhanging caps and are joined to the side rails by exposed silver-toned bolts. The bed includes a slatted base consisting of multiple pine slats connected by fabric webbing, which is supported by a central longitudinal wooden rail featuring a central support block for added stability. A small rectangular adhesive label and a secondary smaller sticker are present on the central support rail, however, the characters on these labels are not legible as a manufacturer’s name.
Condition report:
The bed frame is in fair to good condition, showing signs of light to moderate use. There are visible surface scuffs, scratches, and minor indentations along the top edges of both the headboard and footboard where the wood is most exposed (photo 3 and photo 4). The central support rail has some residual yellow adhesive foam stuck to its top surface (photo 5). The pine slats and fabric webbing appear to be intact and in good functional order (photo 5).
