A collection of decorative art glass paperweights featuring various traditional techniques. The group includes a green glass bird-shaped ornament with controlled bubble decoration throughout the body, finished with a clear glass crest and flared tail. Also included is a clear spherical weight containing a lampworked red multi-petalled flower with a single green leaf, a domed paperweight featuring concentric rings of primary coloured millefiori canes, an egg-shaped weight with an internal spiralling white frit veil rising from a translucent purple base, and a cobalt blue spherical weight with a dense multicoloured mottled frit interior. Each piece is hand-finished with a polished flat base. No manufacturer’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on any of the items in this collection.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or significant surface scratches to the glass bodies. There is a small internal inclusion or mark visible near the beak of the green bird ornament (photo 2). The polished bases likely exhibit minor shelf wear consistent with age and use.
