A collection of assorted vintage and contemporary costume jewellery presented in a red storage box. The lot comprises a large variety of items including necklaces, bracelets, pendants, brooches, and earrings, primarily dating from the late 20th century. The pieces are fashioned from silver-tone, gold-tone, and copper-tone base metals. Notable elements include two large embossed heart-shaped pendants with filigree-style decoration and a woven copper-tone bangle.
The assortment includes a wide range of decorative beads such as faceted glass, smooth acrylic, and faux pearls. Beaded highlights include lampwork-style evil eye beads in red and blue, and cloisonné-style floral enamel beads. Clear and coloured paste stones are set into various metal components. Some items are stored in individual plastic bags. Small indented marks are present on several clasps and reverse surfaces, but these are not clearly legible as maker signatures or names.
Condition report:
A significant degree of tangling is observed across the necklaces and chains (photo 1). Metal components exhibit surface scratches and areas of patina (photo 2). Minor scuffing is evident on some acrylic and glass beads (photo 1). Some items appear to be single earrings or may require minor repair, indicated by their storage in separate plastic bags (photo 2). The red cardboard container shows moderate wear to the edges and corners (photo 1).
