A Flymo Hover Vac 280 electric lawnmower, designed to hover on a cushion of air while mower clippings are collected into an integrated grass box. The unit features an orange plastic housing and is powered by a 1300W motor with a 230V, 50Hz electrical requirement. It is equipped with a 28cm cutting width. An adhesive manufacturer’s label on the housing reads ‘HUSQVARNA AB, S 561 82 Huskvarna, Sweden, Product No. 9672586-01, Serial No. 72304488, Designation EG280, Model Hover Vac 280 ROI, 230V~50Hz 1300W, UK 1300W, 8.5kg, IPX4, LWA 91 dB, 2017’. The mower includes a long yellow power cable fitted with a standard UK three-pin plug. The underside reveals a metal cutting blade mounted onto a black plastic impeller assembly.
Condition report:
The lawnmower is in used condition with visible evidence of previous garden use. The exterior orange plastic casing shows various surface scuffs, scratches, and ground-in dirt, particularly noticeable around the lower edges and the handle attachment points (photos 1, 2, and 3). The underside of the deck, including the blade and impeller fan, is heavily coated with dried grass clippings and soil (photo 5). The manufacturer\'s label is partially obscured by grime but remains largely legible (photo 6). The yellow power cable appears intact without visible fraying, although it shows some surface discolouration (photos 1 and 4). Mechanical and electrical functionality has not been tested.
