This lot comprises two 9ct yellow gold necklaces, including one pendant necklace set with an opal and one loose chain. The pendant necklace features a central oval cabochon white opal measuring approximately 9mm by 7mm, which exhibits a play-of-colour with green, orange, and pink flashes. The stone is four-prong set within a decorative openwork teardrop-shaped gold frame and is suspended from a fine trace link chain with a spring ring clasp. The bail of the pendant is impressed with three stamped marks; the central mark is ‘375’ in a rectangular cartouche, while the marks to either side are not clearly legible. The second item is a 9ct yellow gold Singapore twist chain featuring a fine twisted curb design and a spring ring clasp. The rectangular end tag near the clasp bears four stamped marks in a row, including a crown symbol and a ‘375’ mark, though the remaining two stamps are not legible as specific characters.

There are no visible kinks, repairs, or broken links to either of the chains (photo 1).
