A collection of Art Deco style pressed glass dressing table sets, centrepiece bowls and a cased manicure set. The glasswares include a five-piece set in pale blue glass featuring a tray with a central starburst motif, a pair of faceted candlesticks, a ring tree and a trinket pot. A matched five-piece amber glass dressing table set comprises an oval tray with textured scroll decoration, matching candlesticks, a lidded pot and a pin dish. The amber glass figural centrepiece depicts a classically draped female figure with a frosted finish supporting a shallow floral-bordered dish. The group also features an octagonal amber glass bowl, a boat-shaped footed bowl and two further lidded trinket pots. The manicure set is housed in a dark textured presentation case with a green velvet and gathered cream satin-lined interior featuring an oval mirror, containing various tools with cream-coloured handles. No manufacturer marks are visible on the glass or tool surfaces. This lot comprises the glassware and manicure set only; the wooden shelving and other background items shown in the images are not included.

Condition report:

The manicure case shows visible peeling and loss to the dark textured finish at the top left corner of the exterior (photo 3) and oxidation is present on the metal components of the tools (photo 4). A small brown surface mark is located on the interior of the blue glass tray (photo 1). The glass items generally exhibit light surface scratching and minor residue consistent with age and use (photo 1, 9, 10). The figural centrepiece and bowls appear to be free of significant chips or cracks (photo 6, 8).
