A collection of vintage style telephones and decorative items including reproduction telephones, mantel clocks, and a weather station. The telephones are constructed from cream-coloured plastic with gold-tone metal cradles and circular push-button dials. One telephone bears the name CHIC at the dial centre, and the other is marked CHERIE. Both units include buttons for RECALL and REDIAL. The West German wall-mounted weather station comprises a carved wood frame with a central barometer marked HUGER, PRECISION BAROMETER, and West-Germany. The dial features meteorological terms in black script, including Rain, Change, and Stormy. A thermometer and a hygrometer marked HYGRO are also integrated into the wooden frame. The group is completed by an ornate gold-tone Rococo style mantel clock and a modern anniversary style torsion pendulum clock in a glass and chrome-finish case.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall cosmetic condition. The plastic telephone casings show no visible fractures or significant discolouration in photo 1. The glass components of the clocks and weather station appear intact across all photographs, notably in photo 2 and photo 3. The thermometer tube is unbroken as shown in photo 3. All items are sold as untested for functional or mechanical operation.
