Start price: £6

Estimated price: £6 - £12

Buyer's Premium: 20%

Sold for: £3

A trio of decorative items comprising one Art Nouveau style table lamp and two ceramic vases with dried natural arrangements. The table lamp features a two-branch design with a cast metal base finished in a brass tone. The base is cast in the form of two lily pads accented with two closed lily or lotus buds. Two curved stems terminate in lamp holders fitted with frosted glass shades of a lily or tulip form, featuring vertical ribbing and ruffled, petal-like rims. The lamp is equipped with a black plastic-coated cable and a white UK three-pin plug. The first vase is a large bulbous pottery piece with a two-tone finish, featuring a dark brown metallic-glazed upper section and a cream-coloured ribbed lower section. It is decorated with a cord around the neck bearing wooden or clay beads and a tassel. The second vase is a smaller ovoid ceramic vessel finished in a pale green glaze. Both vases contain arrangements of dried natural materials including straight and curled branches, woven wicker spheres, and flowers constructed from wood shavings. No manufacturer’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on any of the items. The lamp is sold as a decorative object; the wiring is untested and should be inspected by a qualified electrician before use. This lot comprises the lamp and vases only; the wooden shelving and concrete flooring shown in the images are not included.

Condition report:

The metal base of the lamp shows minor surface oxidation and light wear consistent with age (photo 2). The frosted glass shades appear to be in good condition without visible cracks or large chips. Both ceramic vases appear to be in good structural condition. The dried natural arrangements are dusty and appear brittle due to age (photo 1).
