This lot comprises an assortment of contemporary ceramic, glass and metal kitchenware and tableware including examples by Seiko and Nutmeg Home. The collection features a partial porcelain dinner service by Nutmeg Home decorated with a transfer-printed wildflower and grass pattern in shades of pink and purple. A printed black mark on the base of a side plate reads Nutmeg HOME PORCELAIN Microwave & Dishwasher Safe. The service includes dinner plates, side plates, bowls and mugs. A rectangular ceramic oven-to-table baking dish with a red glazed exterior and white interior is marked on the base with ERNESTO® IAN 345243_2004 and Kapimex. Additional ceramic items include a blue glazed teapot, a white porcelain mortar and pestle, a heart-shaped trinket box with a violet motif and cream-coloured canisters labelled Tea and Sugar.
The lot also contains three graduated clear glass circular baking dishes, a glass French press cafetière with black plastic components and a small stainless steel grater. Timekeeping is provided by a Seiko wall clock featuring a circular gold-tone dial with black Arabic numerals and hands, marked SEIKO and QUARTZ. A wooden chopping board, a dark blue tray and a patterned kitchen textile complete the group.
Condition report:
Items are in a used, mixed condition consistent with regular domestic use. The red baking dish shows surface scuffing and dark staining to the unglazed base (photo 6). The glass ovenware and porcelain items exhibit light surface wear and minor shelf-rubbing consistent with handling. No significant chips, cracks or repairs are visible in the provided photographs. The functionality of the clock has not been tested.
