This lot comprises two Vax floorcare appliances, consisting of a corded upright vacuum cleaner and a multifunction steam mop. The upright vacuum cleaner is a bagless model constructed with a silver and grey plastic housing featuring orange accents. A manufacturer’s adhesive label on the rear of the main column reads vax, 1113164601101305531, Model U88-AM-B, Wattage 1200W, Voltage 220-240V, Frequency 50Hz, contains a CE mark, and states it was MADE IN PRC. The clear dust canister is printed with the model name Air Three Wishes and lists features including 1. Ultra Lightweight, 2. Superb Suction, and 3. Outstanding Manoeuvrability. The second appliance is a Vax SteamFresh Combi Classic multifunction steam mop, which includes a detachable handheld cleaning unit and an angular floorhead. It is accompanied by its original cardboard retail box, a user manual, and an assortment of accessories including a blue plastic carpet glider, two microfibre cleaning pads, a concentration nozzle, a scraper tool, a detail nozzle, and several small brushes. Both appliances are fitted with standard UK three-pin plugs.
Condition report:
Both appliances exhibit signs of previous domestic use. The vacuum cleaner canister contains residual dust (photo 2) and there is visible scuffing and surface marking to the plastic body and floorhead (photo 4). The steam mop components show typical wear, with the microfibre pads showing slight discolouration from use (photo 8). The original cardboard box for the steam mop is in poor condition, showing significant creasing, surface losses, and torn flaps (photo 7).
