A collection of metal and chrome plated novelty table lighters in various decorative forms. This assortment comprises items fashioned as a swan, a smoking pipe, several urn-shaped vessels, and two lidded tankards. The pieces are constructed from silver-toned and chrome-plated metals, featuring relief-molded decoration including a scene depicting two footballers on one of the tankards. A circular base is impressed with the text ROLSTAR and MADE IN ENGLAND. A smaller oval-based lighter is marked HADSON and NO. 533475 to the underside. A large rectangular lighter is marked on the base with the name FISHER and the word BUTANE. Various mechanisms are present including side-squeeze and top-lever flint actions. The collection includes several items with white adhesive labels bearing handwritten alphanumeric codes. The mechanical functionality and internal components of the lighters remain untested.

Condition report:

The collection exhibits widespread age-related wear throughout. There is significant surface scratching and pitting to the metal plating across the majority of the items (photo 1). Widespread dust and grime are present, with visible green oxidation and verdigris particularly noted on the relief-molded tankards (photo 6). Some areas of plating loss are observable on the edges and raised decorative elements of the urn-shaped lighters (photo 4 and photo 5). The mechanical ignition systems appear intact but have not been tested for operation.
