This auction ended on September 16, 2026.

Start price: £14

Estimated price: £14 - £20

Buyer's Premium: 20%

Sold for: £65

A 9ct yellow gold sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The ring features a central flower-head cluster design, composed of a single small round-cut diamond set within a white metal star-shaped illusion plate. This central stone is surrounded by seven round-cut sapphires or dark blue stones, which are prong-set in a floral arrangement. The cluster is elevated on a yellow gold gallery, and the band is finished with bypass-style shoulders featuring a textured leaf or ribbed design.

The interior of the band is stamped with an impressed mark reading ‘W&G’. It also bears a series of four hallmarks within separate cartouches: a crown gold standard mark, the numerals ‘375’ denoting 9 carat gold purity, an anchor symbol for the Birmingham Assay Office, and a lowercase serif letter ‘w’.

Weight: 0.69 dwt.

Condition report:

The ring is in good pre-owned condition. There is light surface wear and minor scratching consistent with age and use to the gold band (photo 4). The gem cluster is missing one stone (photo 2). No visible chips or cracks to the stones are evident under photographic inspection.
