This lot comprises five gold and silver-plated copper commemorative medals, each housed in a protective plastic sleeve and accompanied by a corresponding numbered certificate of authenticity. The collection includes a large 100mm jumbo strike commemorating the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II, featuring a double portrait obverse and a Royal Coat of Arms reverse. Also present is a 70mm medal from the Gold Giants series featuring a replica 1933 US Double Eagle design, a 70mm silver-plated strike with gold-plated inserts for the History of British Coinage series depicting the 1344 Double Leopard, a 50mm Rule Britannia strike featuring a colourised Union Jack design, and a 40mm Magna Carta commemorative with a central historical scene. The certificates are printed with technical information identifying the core material as copper (Cu), variously layered or plated in 24 carat gold or silver, with some examples featuring padprinting.
