A collection of vintage and modern costume jewellery and small collectables including enamel and hardstone examples. This lot comprises a diverse assortment of decorative items presented in a wooden compartmentalised tray and a black cardboard box. The first grouping includes a white and black enamel brooch in the form of a Scottish Terrier, a cluster brooch featuring four cream enamel flowers with blue rhinestone centres, and a dragonfly brooch decorated with blue and green enamel and red accents. Further items include a flower-shaped hair clip set with multi-coloured faceted rhinestones, a circular brooch with a central turquoise-coloured cabochon, and a large gold-toned filigree brooch with a central cream cabochon. The collection also features an iridescent abalone shell pendant, a large oval pendant with an orange and brown spiral design, and a thin slice of banded natural agate, alongside a brass-toned thimble, an edelweiss-motif brooch, and two silver-toned metal tokens. The second grouping includes a heavy gold-toned crescent torque necklace, a multi-strand necklace of alternating white faux pearls and gunmetal-grey beads, and a mint-green stone floral necklace component. Also present are a large five-petal flower brooch in reddish-purple resin with gold-toned flecks, a silver-toned rhinestone-encrusted butterfly brooch, and two pairs of cabochon stud earrings in yellow and salmon pink. The earrings are mounted on white cardboard display cards printed with the text FASHION EARRINGS.
Condition report:
The items are in generally good vintage condition. There is minor wear to the enamel on the Scottish Terrier brooch (photo 2) and light tarnishing visible on several of the metal components throughout the collection. The multi-strand faux pearl necklace shows some loss of surface lustre and potential tangling (photo 1). All decorative stones appear to be present in the larger brooches upon visual inspection.
