This lot comprises a set of two contemporary solid oak furniture items, including a chest of drawers and a matching dressing table mirror from the Bevel range. The chest is designed in a two-over-three drawer configuration, featuring flush-fitting drawer fronts and brushed metal bow-style handles. The units are constructed from solid light oak throughout, including the drawer interiors and finger-jointed oak panel bottoms. The matching mirror is a freestanding swing design with a solid oak frame, uprights, and metal pivot hinges. A white adhesive label on the reverse of the chest reads JB GLOBAL Quality Certification Product No. BEV052 Desc. Bevel Oakley Chest of Drawers S/C No. – VN LVJB-15-017 Production Team QC-LV 5 Check Date 28 / 9 / 2015 BS EN 14749:2005. The mirror has been removed for transportation and includes two L-shaped metal mounting brackets for re-attachment to the rear of the chest.
Condition report:
Both items are in excellent used condition with consistent wood grain throughout. The chest of drawers shows very minor surface scuffing to the top right-hand edge (photo 2). The mirror glass is clear and free from desilvering (photo 13) and the oak frame shows no significant wear (photo 11).
