A trio of three Mid-Century Modern style blue laminate furniture pieces comprising a table and two stools. The table features a rectangular top finished in a light blue laminate with a black edge band, supported by a wooden frame with four square-tapered legs. The two stools are constructed with matching wooden frames exhibiting visible through-tenon joinery and H-pattern stretchers. The stool seats are upholstered in a turquoise-toned vinyl. The primary timber utilised is a light hardwood finished with a warm teak-coloured stain. No manufacturer labels, maker’s marks, or retailer backstamps are visible on the pieces. This lot comprises the table and two stools only; the other furniture items visible in the background are not included.
Condition report:
The wooden frames of the table and both stools show significant surface wear, finish loss, and scuffing throughout the legs and rails (photo 1, 2, 4). The blue laminate table top displays light surface marks and minor scuffing consistent with age (photo 5). The black edge banding is intact and secure. The turquoise vinyl upholstery on the stools shows minor creasing and surface wear but remains free from visible punctures or tears (photo 2, 3). The structural integrity of the joints appears sound based on visual inspection.
