A collection of ten wristwatches in various dress, fashion, and sport styles, including examples by Rado, Emporio Armani, Giorgio Armani, and Smiths. The lot includes a Rado quartz dress watch featuring a rectangular silver-tone case with an integrated brushed and polished bracelet, marked RADO and QUARTZ to the dial. A Giorgio Armani charity collaboration watch for the 21st Century Leaders Foundation is present in its themed presentation case, featuring a two-tone dive-style case and bracelet with WhateverItTakes.org printed to the silvered dial alongside a charity logo and designer signature. Also included is an Emporio Armani fashion watch in a large rectangular case with its original presentation box, featuring a white dial with elongated Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial. The assortment further comprises a Smiths gold-tone cushion-shaped watch marked SHOCKRESISTANT, a Cotton Traders watch with a white rubber strap, a sport style divers watch bearing a TAG HEUER shield logo, and a tonneau-shaped Franck Muller style watch featuring an open-heart dial with a moon-phase indicator marked FRANCK MULLER GENEVE. Other examples are marked Louis Valentin, Breil, and Ben Sherman.


Condition report:

The collection shows varying degrees of wear across the pieces. The Rado watch shows significant surface scratches and scuffing to the case and bracelet (photo 2). The Louis Valentin piece has visible pitting and wear to the case plating (photo 2), while the divers style watch shows heavy wear and scratches to the bezel and bracelet (photo 2). Brassing and significant loss of gold plating is evident on the Smiths case, and the black leather strap is perished (photo 3). The Breil and Ben Sherman watches show moderate surface scratches to the cases (photo 3). The Emporio Armani watch shows signs of wear to the case edges (photo 7). The Cotton Traders and Giorgio Armani watches appear in good overall condition (photos 6 and 4). The Franck Muller style watch has scratches to the case and a worn leather strap (photo 8). All watches are sold as untested and the working status of the movements is unknown.
