A collection of wall art pieces comprising various prints and canvases. The lot includes two hand-embellished giclée prints on canvas by Jane Askey, featuring floral still life subjects in vibrant colours. Also included are two framed offset lithograph reproduction prints after Claude Monet, titled The Walk, Argenteuil and The Japanese Bridge. The group is completed by a long panoramic seaside canvas, a framed seascape titled Moody Blues II by P. J. Baron, and a giclée print of a pink tulip. The Monet prints are housed in modern metal-clip frames with fiberboard backings, while the Baron print is in a painted wooden frame. The reverse of the Askey pieces bears a label reading JANE ASKEY with a cursive signature transcribing as Jane Askey and the text HAND EMBELLISHED GICLÉE BY MASTER ARTISANS. The Monet prints include printed text at the bottom edge reading CLAUDE MONET / The Walk, Argenteuil / By courtesy of Christies, London / Bridgeman Art Library, London and CLAUDE MONET / The Japanese Bridge / By courtesy of Christies Images, London. The seascape is titled in pencil Moody Blues II and signed P. J. Baron. A corner label on the seaside panorama reads Made In The United Kingdom. The reverse of the clip frames feature labels for BH BECKER-HACH and REFLEX ANTI-REFLEX.


Condition report:

The collection appears in overall good decorative condition. The Monet clip frames show minor surface wear (photo 1). The wooden frame for the Baron print has light scuffing to the edges (photo 1). The unframed canvases show minor rubbing to the corners (photo 1). Several pieces remain in their original protective plastic wrapping (photos 1, 6). No significant foxing, fading, or toning is visible in the photographs.
