A collection of vintage personal accessories including a Ronson pocket lighter in case. This lot comprises a chrome-finished metal pocket lighter, a copper-toned articulated link bracelet, iridescent shell bracelets, a cast metal crucifix, and a metal T-handle winding key. The pocket lighter features a polished chrome-finished body engraved with script initials K. W. B. within a decorative frame and a small four-pointed star at the base, with the snuffer arm stamped RONSON. It is presented in its original tan textured box with a cream silk interior lining printed with the name RONSON. The jewellery includes one copper-toned metal link bracelet and two bracelets constructed from rectangular iridescent shell segments in purple and green tones. The group further contains a dark-toned cast metal crucifix featuring a relief figure of Christ on the front, with the reverse showing a hanging loop and four cylindrical pegs. A silver-toned metal T-handle winding key completes the assortment.
Condition report:
The Ronson lighter shows surface scratching and minor pitting to the chrome finish, and its presentation case exhibits staining and wear to the interior silk and exterior surfaces (photo 2). The copper-toned link bracelet and shell bracelets show light surface wear and minor dulling to the finish (photo 1). The cast metal crucifix displays a dark, aged patina and small surface marks (photo 3). The winding key shows light tarnishing and scratching (photo 1).
