Sold for: £3
A pair of two modern solid pine open-fronted storage units, suitable for use as desktop organisers or small bookcases. Each unit is constructed from thick solid wood panels with a honey-coloured polished finish. The design is utilitarian, featuring a single rectangular compartment with a solid wooden back panel. The leading edges of the top and vertical side panels are rounded. No maker’s marks, stamps, signatures, or manufacturer’s labels are present. This lot comprises the two storage units only; the chests of drawers and other items of furniture visible in the background are not included.
Condition report:
The units are in fair to good used condition. Visible surface wear is present, including scratches and scuffs to the polished finish, most notably on the top horizontal surfaces (photo 1). Minor abrasions and small impact dings are present along the leading edges and corners (photo 2). Some general surface marks and scuffs are visible on the side panels and interior surfaces (photo 3).
