This lot comprises a contemporary country style knotted pine double door wardrobe. The unit is constructed from solid knotted pine with a warm, honey-toned polished finish. The design features two doors with raised-and-fielded panels, each topped with a distinct arched rail, alongside rounded vertical corner posts and small bun feet. The interior is finished in pine and contains a single vertical partition, creating two separate storage compartments. The doors are fitted with matching turned pine circular pulls and standard metal butt hinges. No manufacturer labels or marks are visible on the piece. This lot comprises the wardrobe only; the matching chest of drawers shown beneath the unit in the images is not included.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition. Numerous natural knots are visible throughout the timber, which are characteristic of the material. There are minor surface scuffs and light scratches visible on the top surface (photo 5). Signs of gentle use are present, including light wear around the circular pulls (photo 2). The interior shows some natural variations in the wood grain and finish (photo 6).
