This lot comprises three Bank of England Series C one pound banknotes. The notes are constructed from paper and decorated with a predominantly green colour palette, featuring intricate geometric and floral patterns in yellow, light blue, and brown. The obverse design features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in her Garter robes and the George IV State Diadem, positioned to the right. A vignette of a seated Britannia within a circular medallion is positioned at the lower left. Each note carries the printed signature of the Chief Cashier, which reads J. Q. Page. The banknotes bear the consecutive serial numbers 17R 659954, 17R 659955, and 17R 659956, printed in black at the lower right. The denomination ONE POUND is clearly visible in the central medallion and at the top right.

Condition report:

The banknotes are in Uncirculated (UNC) condition. The paper remains crisp and clean with no visible signs of handling, folds, or creases. The corners are sharp and square across all three notes (photo 1). The margins are well-centred and the print remains vibrant with no evidence of staining, pinholes, or foxing.
