A framed 1960s Verstegen printed paper Belgian theatrical movie poster for the 1966 20th Century-Fox production Our Man Flint. The bilingual poster features titles in French and Dutch reading DEREK FLINT CONTRE TEGEN GALAXY ( OUR MAN FLINT ). The central artwork depicts James Coburn in character, surrounded by stylised female figures and spy-themed motifs in a variety of vibrant colours. Text to the upper left reads 20th CENTURY-FOX présente / stelt voor. The bottom credit block lists cast members James Coburn, Lee J. Cobb, Gila Golan, and Edward Mulhare, along with production details including producer Saul David and director Daniel Mann. Technical specifications for CinemaScope and Couleurs Kleuren De Luxe are also printed. A maker’s mark in the lower right corner reads IMP. L. & H. VERSTEGEN – BRUXELLES. The item is presented in a modern black wooden style frame behind glass with a hardboard backing secured by metal clips.
Condition report:
The poster is in good vintage condition. Obvious machine-fold lines are visible running both horizontally and vertically through the centre (photo 1). There is visible undulation and light creasing to the paper, particularly along these fold lines and the lower edge (photo 2). The paper shows uniform age-related toning. The frame exhibits minor surface scuffing at the corners (photo 3). The item has not been examined out of the frame.
