A contemporary Shaker style oak two door cupboard. This lot comprises one cupboard of rectangular form and one piece construction, featuring a thick overhanging solid oak top over a pair of Shaker style panelled doors. Each door is fitted with a turned wooden knob handle and opens on modern metal concealed hinges. The interior is divided by a central vertical partition, with a single wooden shelf to each side. The unit is raised on short tapered square section legs. The back is finished with a veneered plywood or composite panel. No maker marks, stamps, or labels are visible. This lot comprises the cupboard only; the washing machines, tables, and other surrounding items shown in the images are not included.
Condition report:
The top surface has a prominent dark, semicircular water ring stain and several smaller splash marks and spots (photo 5). There are minor nicks and scuffs to the leading edges of the top and legs consistent with domestic use (photo 2). The interior and door mechanisms appear to be in good functional order (photo 6).
