A large vintage anatomical pull down wall chart depicting the human skeletal and circulatory systems. The chart features a central full length illustration of a human skeleton with the major arterial and venous systems overlaid in red and blue. The composition includes three inset views: two lateral views of the human skull and an additional view of the lower leg bones and vasculature. The illustration is printed on a coated textured paper or synthetic fabric and is mounted between two horizontal wooden rollers at the top and bottom. In the lower right corner, there is a printed signature that reads J. Teck. No other publisher or maker marks are legible. The style is consistent with 20th century European instructional materials used for medical or first aid training.
Condition report:
The chart shows significant signs of age and use with heavy vertical and horizontal creasing and folds across the entire surface. The material appears brittle with surface cracking and possible delamination of the coating visible throughout. The edges are frayed and uneven, particularly on the right side. There is visible yellowing and staining consistent with age and exposure. The wooden rollers appear intact, though the mounting hardware shows signs of surface rust and wear.
