A collection of six items of jewellery comprising two necklaces with pendants, a pair of stud earrings, a separate chain, and a pair of cufflinks. The collection features a rectangular ingot pendant suspended from a curb link chain, with the pendant bearing a full set of British hallmarks for Birmingham, 1984, alongside the maker’s mark ‘S E’. Also included is a square pendant necklace featuring a blue stone cabochon, possibly lapis lazuli, with a matching box link chain; both components are stamped ‘925’. A pair of rectangular stud earrings with blue stone inlays are similarly marked ‘925’ to the reverse and butterfly backs. The assortment further contains a separate curb link chain, the clasp of which is stamped ‘ITALY’ and ‘925’. Completing the group is a pair of oval toggle-back cufflinks decorated in a black and gold-tone damascene style depicting a pagoda and mountain landscape, with the toggle bar stamped ‘SILVER’. The combined weight of the lot is 33.10 grams.


Condition report:

The items are in a used condition showing various degrees of wear. The ingot necklace and separate curb chain exhibit moderate surface scratches and tarnish. The lapis lazuli style pendant and chain show light surface wear. The stud earrings display significant oxidation and heavy tarnish to the silver surfaces, although the inlays remain intact. The cufflinks show moderate to heavy tarnish on the reverse and toggle mechanisms, with light wear to the decorative faces. All clasps and earring backs appear functional.
