A collection of 9ct gold jewellery with a combined gross weight of 11.03 grams. The group features a matched trio of shell cameos comprising a pendant and a pair of stud earrings, each depicting a female profile in relief within a scalloped yellow gold frame. The pendant is struck with hallmarks for Birmingham 9ct gold, including the maker’s mark ‘F&R.B.’. A circular open-work pendant features a central Maltese cross with radiant engine-turned engraving, marked ‘C.J.S’ and ‘9ct’ to the bale. The assortment also includes a fine link 9ct gold chain with a single pearl drop, the cylindrical clasp marked ‘9ct’, and a second standalone fine link gold chain.
Condition report:
All items appear in good condition with minor surface wear and light tarnishing consistent with age. The shell cameos are intact with no visible cracks or chips. The chains show no kinks or broken links, and clasps are functional. The pearl displays a good lustre with typical minor surface irregularities.
