A vintage Omega De Ville quartz wristwatch featuring a gold-plated case with a stainless steel case back. The watch is designed with a round gold-tone dial, applied baton hour markers, and two baton hands. The dial is printed with a gold-tone Omega symbol and reads Ω OMEGA and De Ville QUARTZ. Below the six o’clock marker, the dial is marked – SWISS MADE -. The case is fitted with a black leather strap featuring a gold-tone pin buckle. The underside of the strap is impressed with the number 10 and a name reading Darlena. The watch is presented in a red Omega branded rectangular case; the interior of the lid is marked in gold lettering with a symbol and Ω OMEGA, and the exterior lid features the Omega symbol within a square border.
Condition report:
The watch shows significant signs of age and wear. There is substantial loss to the gold plating on the lugs and sides of the case, exposing the base metal beneath (photo 2). The stainless steel case back exhibits heavy surface scratching and scuffing throughout (photo 3). The dial appears relatively clean, although light oxidation or debris is visible around the extreme edges of the crystal. The leather strap is in poor condition, showing heavy cracking, creasing, and wear to the interior lining (photo 3). The functional status of the quartz movement is unknown and it is sold as untested.
