A collection of mid 20th century publications, primarily focused on British military history and Second World War accounts. The group comprises a mix of softcover booklets and hardcover books. Notable titles include Fleet Air Arm: The Admiralty Account of Naval Air Operations, featuring a monochromatic cover of an aircraft carrier priced at 1/6 net, and The Air Battle of Malta, the narrative of the RAF in Malta from June 1940 to November 1942. Several items are published by H.M.S.O., including Over to You, The Australian Army at War 1939-1944, and Coastal Command. The lot also contains a small dark brown leather-effect hardcover book titled First Aid to the Injured with a silver-stamped emblem for The St. John Ambulance Association, and a vintage trade manual for W.H. Willcox & Co. Ltd. featuring an illustration of oil drums. The softcover booklets are bound with staples or glue, while the hardcovers are cloth or leatherette.

The collection shows significant signs of age and heavy handling wear throughout. Several softcover booklets exhibit frayed edges, creasing, and significant chipping to the spines (photo 1). The blue hardcover book has a torn spine with partial loss of the binding material (photo 1). The Willcox\'s manual shows heavy staining and edge wear to the covers (photo 2). General foxing, toning, and shelf wear are visible across the edges of the paper-bound items (photo 1).
