A collection of vintage costume jewellery and vanity items featuring a variety of base metals and styles. The group includes a two-strand faux pearl necklace presented in a textured cream-coloured case; the interior lid is printed in gold with a crown device and characters reading Ciro OF BOND STREET London & New York, and it contains a printed card titled The Care of your Pearls. Also included is a wide white-metal cuff bracelet decorated with embossed floral and scroll motifs and a white-metal fringe necklace set with three turquoise-coloured cabochons. Further items comprise two white-metal necklaces with decorative pendants, one featuring a purple faceted stone or paste, alongside several pairs of clip-on and screw-back earrings in floral and geometric designs set with colourless pastes. A brown presentation box, printed on the interior lid with a crown crest and gold lettering reading H. SAMUEL Jewellery for Men, contains an assortment of cufflinks and miscellaneous small items in various gold and silver tones. Completing the collection is a circular brass-tone powder compact, the lid decorated with an enamelled floral spray in pink and white. No hallmarks or purity stamps are legible on the metal components.

Condition report:

The collection appears in mixed condition. The white-metal cuff bracelet and necklaces show visible surface tarnish and oxidation (photo 1 and 2). The presentation boxes exhibit wear to the exterior surfaces and edges, with some staining visible to the interior lining of the H. Samuel box (photo 5). The enamelled decoration on the compact remains largely intact, though the metal casing shows surface scratching and dulling (photo 4). All stones and pastes appear present, though settings have not been individually tested for security.
