A collection of military vehicles and a single aircraft constructed from a mix of die-cast metal and molded plastic. The group includes several tanks, armoured personnel carriers, support vehicles, and a fighter jet. Three of the die-cast tanks feature flexible black tracks and are identified by markings on their undersides. The first is a camouflaged tank with a base marked CORGI, PANZER VI, and KING TIGER, also bearing the code HD-GFT04-02-525. The second is a dark grey tank marked CORGI and PANTHER TANK with the code HZ-GFT01-46-525. The third is a black tank marked CORGI and SHERMAN TANK with the code HD-GFT04-03-525.
The collection further comprises two tan-coloured vehicles, a truck and a saloon car, decorated with blue, white, and red circular roundels. Other items include a green Jeep-style vehicle marked LAND FORCES, a green six-wheeled armoured unit marked ARMY UNIT, a grey jet with US Air Force style markings and a retractable nose wheel, and several other tanks in various shades of green and camouflage patterns. Several of the tanks feature manually rotating turrets.
Condition report:
The items are in played-with condition with evidence of wear across the collection. The die-cast vehicles, specifically the tan truck and saloon car, show significant paint chipping and loss to the edges and raised surfaces (photo 1). The barrel of the large camouflage tank in the centre appears to be slightly bent (photo 1). All models exhibit a layer of accumulated dust. The flexible tracks on the Corgi tanks appear intact, though they show signs of age (photo 2).
